Less Panicking

  • Jul. 5th, 2009 at 1:16 PM

I finished fixing both sheers (this includes practically remaking the green and white sheer), and I'm feeling much better about my situation. It only took me a day of focused sewing to get those done. Here's what's left to fix:

*ball gown: re-hemmed in front only
*sherbet dress: guimpe to be made and attached, eyes attached, dog leg skirt closure redone
*gold silk dress: finish repleating skirt, take in bodice

To make:
*sheer fichu
*black silk belt
*pair of drawers

I can do it...

You are amazing so I'm sure you'll get everything done! :)
I hope you have a good time at the school (I don't know how to spell the name). :D I think it sounds really cool ever since Nona went I've wanted to. I'm not old enough yet though. :)

what is this 'dog leg skirt closure' of which you speak? it intrigues me...

that would be where the skirt opens on the side front on a separate waistband. most dresses are like dis. :]
