Finally!

 Some decent pictures of the Big Red Dress.

I redid the collar because the stand up collar was quite unflattering. I didn't post pictures of the first incarnation, which had a ruffle on the shoulder. Meh. Also unflattering. I'm much happier with this dress now!

Also retrimmed the bonnet. Still need flowers for inside the brim though...

thank you!!!! i had lots of fun, and walking around helped me feel so much better! i was really sad i couldn't dance, but i know it's for a good reason. and now i can look forward to many, many dances in the future!

Yes it was, helps no end doesn't it! You sound so much like me a couple of weeks ago! Why did our surgeries both mean we had to miss dancing at balls?! But like you said, there will be many more :D
