You got me started thinking about my paletot for CWW! I just found the fabric too. And I already have a pattern that I drafted. Boo... CADD again.... *sigh*
In other news, I retrimmed by bonnet with the plaid silk, and used the red silk ties to put ruffles on the shoulders of the dress. It looks oh-so-much-more extravagant now! I CAN NOT wait for next weekend!!! :D

In our matching Juicy Couture sweatsuits. Apparently nothing much has changed since the days when all siblings were dressed alike!
My pretty little tea set! I wish you could see all the little delicate details on the china, but my camera didn't wait you to...
My trunk, which now nicely holds all of my clothes! Although, it's going to make them smell like paint for a while. Must buy some sachets...

Merry Christmas everyone!
Finished this in a frenzy! I was sick last night, and my hands were shaking as I cut the velvet, but I really had to get it done! It's basically perfect except for my inability to attach hooks and eyes correctly, so the hooks were totally showing; I got so fed up with it that half-way through the evening I changed into my teen dress (which I SEWED myself into because the hooks and eyes on that are messed up as well). But the dress really is lovely. There's nothing like real silk! I felt so elegant...
